Limited edition art posters
In collaboration with Antalis / Creative of the month I created a small-run poster series inspired by Prada Re-Nylon and National Geographic CreativeWorks documentaries. Printed on uncoated, mass-colored papers from the Olin Naturals collection by Antalis, the prints were designed to echo the aesthetic and message of the films.
Concept and creation
The process began with a technical drawing based on an actual blueprint of a ship equipped with seismic airguns. This precise rendering was fused with delicate, hand-drawn sketches of marine animals affected by underwater noise — a silent tribute to unseen suffering.
Technique and execution
The prints were enhanced using digital hot stamping and white ink — a contrast-rich combination that added depth without overpowering the subtle texture of the natural paper stock.
A quiet warning
Seismic airguns are used in deep-sea oil exploration. They emit powerful low-frequency pulses that can disorient, damage, or even kill marine life. This series aims to highlight the consequences of industrial activity in the ocean’s depths, using print as a medium of awareness.
Only 35 copies were produced, each carrying a quiet but deliberate voice in defense of the unheard.
